Ticon Properties’ Custom Web Application
Mar 16, 2006Ticon Properties contacted us about updating their existing website’s look and feel. The site had been designed as separate html pages some time ago and consisted of over 150 separate html files. A simple telephone number update was a nightmare! We suggested creating a dynamic site utilizing a MySQL database and PHP programming. Ticon’s management team sensed the potential of this approach and asked us to develop a web application that would allow them to expand the information available to site visitors and allow Ticon personnel to manage that information.
The Ticon site was designed from top to bottom to be easy to update. Ticon personnel can log in and edit office information, property data, media files, and unit information. Even the map data is managed by a server-side database! Visitors to the site can now determine what commercial properties are available for lease as well as browse the portfolio of properties.
