The best way to describe what DocMagnet does is to steal from their tagline: they make products that hold things down without holding up production. Their innovative magnetic clamping systems have helped manufacturers drastically reduce machine downtime and set up time. I’ve been fortunate enough to accompany the owner, Simon Barton, to a shop and seen firsthand their products in action.

The site is an ExpressionEngine install with a little JQuery pixie dust strewn about for things like galleries, slideshows and so forth. The videos show some awesome things and if you were the sort of child that insisted on creating that science project yourself instead of letting dad make that lame papier mâché volcano, then the technology center writings are a must read!
