Project Information
We were contacted by the Wake County Environmental Services department to redesign the Wake County Recycle Guide for 2006. In past years, the county had mass produced a publication that was distributed through the News & Observer. The publication was printed on newsprint and was in a 7 x 10 saddle stitched booklet format. Our contact at Wake County wanted to produce a nicer publication and have them distributed at the various convenience centers throughout the county.
We felt the information in the old version was a bit disorganized and that the chart of facilities was a little confusing. After a couple of meetings with Meghan, we were able to suggest a different format and more useful charts. A side benefit is that we all now know where to take old computers and household hazardous waste for recycling disposal!
